Germany Opens Visa-Free Transit For Indians, Travel To Become Easier

Germany: Germany has announced a big relief for those holding Indian passports. Now people who change flights at German airports while going to another country will not have to obtain a transit visa. This means that there will be no need to get a separate visa for a stay of a few hours.

This was stated in a joint statement issued by India and Germany. This statement came after the visit of German Chancellor Friedrich Merz to India. Marj came to India on 12 and 13 January. This was his first visit to India and also his first visit to Asia after becoming Chancellor.
